Major headline – The friends of Waskasoo Forest throw a welcome home surprise party for Spirit squirrel.  Spirit also writes a letter to her readers and describes what happened to her on the day a storm hit her tree house.  We also have a photo of what her new tree house looks like!

Secondary headline – An early snowfall hits Waskasoo Forest and some of our forest friends tell us what they did on this cold and snowy day.  It also includes original photos of the forest’s snowy landscape.

Other articles – The Little Gem sells jewelry and introduces us to their friendly owners and staff.  Another article is about Bellrose teddy bear who takes our readers on a tour of downtown Waskasoo Forest during this holiday season.  Families can work on a short story and also read the classifieds and the classes and parties that are going on this holiday season.  Joelle’s Fun Day and Story leads us to kitties and a guessing contest as well as a letter to Santa.  As a way to say thank you to our readers we made this edition 32 pages long at the same price.  Happy Holidays and Happy New Year 2018.
