Description
Joelle is getting her tonsils removed at the hospital and is finding it difficult to make friends with the other children in the ward. She doesn’t fit in because of her dark complexion. Feeling alone and isolated, she turns to her grandmother for guidance. Upon hearing about Joelle’s dilemma, her grandmother visits and brings her a present. The present holds traditions and customs that will allow Joelle to tell a story, her story of bringing happiness and joy to others.
