These marzipan sweets are easy to make and require no baking time. They smell delicious and are nice after any meal.
Directions:
- 2 cups of ground almonds (without the skin). I used slivered almonds.
- 1/2 cup of sifted icing sugar
- 6-7 tablespoons of orange blossom water. (It is found in the international aisle in the grocery store).
- White sugar to sprinkle on top or coat
In a bowl add the ground almonds. Sift . cup of the icing sugar onto the ground almonds. Mix them well together. Add gradually the orange blossom water and start to blend into the dry mixture. Blend together (I used my fingers) until it becomes a stiff paste. You can add a bit more blossom water if needed. You can now start to form the mixture into balls. You can either roll the marzipan sweets in white sugar or sprinkle some white sugar on top of each of the marzipan sweets. Put the sweets into paper cases and onto a dish and cover them with cling wrap. Keep in the fridge and you can put them on a platter when ready to serve.
